Why Sameka Health?
Hi! I'm Maitri, co-founder of Sameka Health. Let me tell you my story.
I spent years in research. as a microbiologist.. as a formulation scientist. And one of the things you do in that world is read. Everything. Every compound. Every ingredient. Every formulation.
So one day I'm standing in a store, picking up supplement after supplement, flipping them around and reading the back.
Sub-standard ingredients. Fillers. Artificial sweeteners. Compounds I had seen in completely different contexts in my research.
Around the same time I was going through my own weight struggles. Which, if you've been there.. you know how vulnerable that feels.
And I thought okay, fine. I'm a researcher. Let me find product that actually works.
I couldn't. I genuinely could not find a single product I would feel comfortable giving to my own family. Not anyone I truly cared about.
That was the moment.
Not a business idea. Not a market gap. Just a very personal thought.. if it doesn't exist, I'll make it.
That's how Sameka Health was born.
